Accommodation
The Management and the care team are assisted by a full complement of domestic staff who maintain the cleanliness of the home, maintain infection control and keep Bryher Court feeling like a home from home. We also have an in house laundry, two cooks and a maintenance person to help keep the building and gardens looking good. We have over sixty members of staff dedicated to our patient’s welfare.
Rooms
Accommodation is available on four nursing floors, serviced by two passenger lifts, which can accommodate a wheelchair connecting all floors. All rooms are decorated to create a homely environment with private telephone, remote controlled television (on which radio channels can be obtained), wireless internet and nurse call system. Our rooms have individual thermostat to control central temperature.
Within Bryher Court, we are able to offer a few large rooms, and two double rooms which are often used by couples. Some rooms have en-suite facilities with private assisted showers allowing people the luxury of not leaving their own private space for bathing. Many rooms have sun terraces or balconies overlooking the garden and some offer fine views of the Sussex countryside. Residents may bring small items of furniture and their own TV and pictures for the walls if they wish, to make their room their own.
